Local fishermen, small tapas bars, fresh seafood in a picturesque setting, lovely right? I just can't get enough of it!
You stroll through our tropical gardens straight to the sea, where you walk along the Senda Litoral de Estepona promenade, stepping quietly to the port.
The best Spanish tapas can be found at La Escollera, located on the harbour. The fish they serve here comes straight from the sea, all the more reason why this is the meeting place of Spaniards.
In May and June, you will enjoy dolphins 🐬 during your walk and a little further on you will enter Estepona's new green zone 🌴 an oasis of peace with trees, plants and - of course - colourful flowerbeds. A few hundred metres further on, you'll see the ultra modern, white lookout 🚩with benches and a cooling gentle sea breeze with which this exquisite architecture indulges her visitors. For hours I can just sit here and watch the schools of dolphins or fishing boats mooring on and off.
Every Sunday, from 9am until 2pm, Estepona's Sunday market in Puerto Deportivo invites you to admire its local products. From handmade jewellery to cotton tablecloths, ceramics and the typical Andalusian crocheted dresses are fun souvenirs you can find here.
